Identifying marks/stamps: A faint \"Playboy bunny logo\" on the stem, Silver hallmarks on the concentric silverband. Stamped underneath with \"Playboy\" and \"Imported Briar\"Please take note:In the research I have done on pipe blogs and websites, I have deduced that this is was manufactured by a Dunhilll subsidiary company, and \"according to legend\", the Playboy pipe was created with the same model as the Dunhill Black Billiard.Here\'s an excerpt from one of the threads: \"Hugh Hefner not only famously smoked a pipe, he marketed the pipe in this ad...although according to a personal source he only smoked them for advertisement, his personal choice was a Dunhill Black Billiard. As far as I am aware, this pipe was NOT personally owned by Hugh Hefner, but it is his \"brand\". If there is an expert on the Playboy pipe that see\'s ANY misrepresentation of information in my post for the style, year, model, etc that needs to be corrected, PLEASE let me know! I am fascinated by these pipes but I am NOT an expert!!
