Pogo Daily Original By Walt Kelly – Pandemonia Period:
You are offerding on a Walt Kelly original DailyPogo comic strip, published on June 14th, 1966.
"If I Go to Mars..."
Kelly's great elephant Peanie Brickle conveys to Howland his excitement over a chance to go to Mars -- at the beginning of the famous Pandemonia series from late 1966 and early 1967!
This strip is hand drawn and inked by Mr. Kelly, featuring great characters Peanie Brickle and Howland.
strip is in good shape with an even, minor off-white coloring from
age. It has the normal few pin holes around the border, used by
Kelly to hold in place while inking.
Note that it has NOT been folded in the center. (Kelly often folded his strips vertically between the two panels to send to the syndication printers--but again, this strip is not folded and will be sent between thin plywood to perserve it.)
The artwork itself is hand brushed black ink over blue pencil. Signed "Walt Kelly".
