Polish Medal Group Monte Cassino Cross Of Valour 3dsk + Photos Poland :
A very nice & all original group of Polish & British awards plus assorted photographs.
The medals and badges are:
Monte Cassino Cross numbered 14 161 (with original hook & eyelet ribbon)
Cross of Valour (This cross is one of the recognised Polish Exile variants. These are believed to have been made in Palestine and have a distinctive elongated suspension loop. The ribbon is also original with the hook & eyelet).
1939-45 Star, Italy Star, Defence Medal & 1939-45 War Medal
a small screwback 3 DSK badge (This badge was made by F.M.Lorioli Roma)
a perspex covered ribbon bar with what looks like a Virtute Militare ribbon with two stars on it
Plus numerous photographs as pictured. Many of the photos have names & information written on the back in Polish.
All of these items were purchased together & I will not split them.
I don't know who these medals belonged to, but perhaps the photos & the information written on the back may assist in identification.
