ITEM DESCRIPTION: Great Pair of these Vintage Polk RT 8 Floor Standers in really good shape, purchase a while back at an estate sale. Functioning as intended. Surrounds are in good shape, no dents in tweeter. Some cosmetic issues. Mainly, one grill is slightly warped and therefore there is a gap between speaker and grill. Also, one grill has a single small \"pull\", but there are no holes. A few small scuffs or dings, hardly noticeable. There is a significant scratch on the rear of one speaker(see pics). Both emblems present. Comes with RT series brochure which has directions for set-up and dwith spikes for the bottom of the stands.

As you can see the data sticker is missing from the back of the speakers. Therefore I do not know what the serial #s are for these speakers.

Each speaker is 10\" x 9.5\" x 34\" at the base (with stands) and 8.5\" x 10.5\" at the top (with grills). Each weighs 34 lbs and SHIPPING WEIGHT FOR EACH WILL BE ABOUT 40 LBS. Please note that the shipping estimate provided by is for ONE SPEAKER. Be sure to double that figure when calculating shipping/handling to your location.

CONDITION: is Very Good with no issues as to functioning. The Woofer surrounds are in good shape. No dents in the tweeters. Cosmetically, a significant scratch on the REAR of one speaker. A few small dings elsewhere on each speaker. One grill board is slightly warped and the grill therefore stands out from the speaker a little. The vinyl is loose on the edge of both bases. I think this can be fixed with a little carpenter\'s glue.

COMBINED SHIPPING is offered on multiple Purchases. This can often save a significant amount of $$. Multiple purchases have to occur withing 3 days of each other to qualify for combined shipping. SHIPPING: Many of my customers have been concerned with the cost of shipping, and I am also. Unfortunately the US Postal Service, as well as UPS, has been increasing their rates, and both will do so again in January, 2012. My shipping fees are the actual US postal/UPS charges plus a small(usually $2.50-3.00) handling charge to cover the expenses of boxes, packing material, labor fees, transportation to the PO, etc.

Please be aware that I ship fragile items via Priority mail to reduce the chances of damage or loss. Non-fragile items will also be shipped Priority unless you request other arrangements.

RETURNS: Returns will be granted if requested within 14 days of receipt of the item. You the buyer are responsible for return postage, and a restocking fee of $10.00 US will be deducted from the price paid for the item to determine the refunded amount.
