Good condition, hard to find cel drawing by Mryon Waldman. Print is in great shape. The frame shows some wear with scuffs along the front and dents in the foam on the back. Still makes for a great piece as is, or can easily be re-framed into something better. Myron Waldman has more than 65 years of experience in the field of animation, having worked as a head animator at Fleischer Studios in the 1930\'s during the Golden Age of Animation and later at Paramount\'s Famous Studios. He is renowned for his work on some of the best Popeye, Betty Boop, and Casper the Friendly Ghost cartoons.From Myron\'s drawing, an original cel and background were created. The background was then printed, by P. J. McNerney of Cincinnati, Ohio, using four color offset lithograph. The sericel image was silk-screened by Champion Printing Inc, of Cincinnati, OH.This limited edition sericel was produced in 1998. It is comprised of a general edition of 1000 sericels and 100 artist proofs for a total maximum of 1100 sericels. Toon Art, Inc. approves the techniques used in the production of this edition and the proofs tof. Each sericel bears the official King Features Syndicate Logo and is individually numbered and signed by Myron Waldman.
