Amazing sculpture andbeautifulwork of sport fishing art!
Full of movement and excitement, the ceramic fishisuniquely mounted on a huge chunk of slag glass and is in perfect original condition. This fish is flying!
Magnificent artworkmeasures approximately12" wide,9" deepand15" tall, andweighs about 15 lbs.
Although I do not know the age of this sculpture, it has a classic vintage look. Found a similar piece in the U.K. which was dated circa 1920 to 1939.
Theporcelain fish mounts ontoglass via two steel pegs. Will beshipped in two seperate pieces.
The piece is signed, but I cannot find any information concerningthe artist; signature looks like R GoogleS. Nonetheless the quality of this artwork is unmistakable, the statue captivating, and the subject wild!
Glass base has the word France etched into it with a registration mark after it (etched by hand), so it appears to beof French origin.
Truely a fine work of vintage art.
