Post 1901 British General Service Dress Uniform Wwi And Wwii Veteran:
You are offerding on a post 1901 General’s Servie Dress Uniform, consisting of a khaki single breasted open collar tunic with pleaded chest pockets, lower bag pockets with buttoned flaps, scarlet collar tabs with gilt tarnished oak leaf embroidery, gilt general’s shoulder rank (crossed sword and baton, pip, and KC) and medal ribbons which are: MBE, MC, 1915 trio, GSM, 1939-45 Star, Africa Star w/ 1st Army Clasp, Italy Star, Legion d’Honneur.
Khaki service dress pants have some small holes (see pictures) but are overall in a good-very good condition.
The tunic is in excellent condition and the uniform is about an EU size 50.
The khaki service dress cap has scarlet band, KC bullion embroidered General’s badge, brown leather chinstrap with two gilt general’s buttons. It is manufactured by the reknown haberdashery “Hector Powe” on Regent Street.
The Sam brown belt has some waterstains and is in overall good-fair condition.
The provenance of this ensemble is a renown British sale house.
