This is a small...4 inch diameter...standing colored plaque from the 1915 Panama Pacific Exposition in San Francisco. The caption says \"View of the Tower from Main Entrance. The Panama Pacific International Exposition 1915 San Francisco, Cal.\" The tower and surroundings shown are nothing like the Tower of Jewels and surrounding buildings and gardens which were actually built. This is obviously a pre-Expo souvenir, perhaps to raise funds. It is well done...the picture is quite detailed and there are even some sort of mother of pearl highlights. The circular frame is pressed metal and the rather complicated stand is attached to the back via cutouts. There is a small red circular label on the back which says \"A.G. Bosselman and Co. New York.\" Considering everything, it\'s in very good shape although a bit delicate.
