20th December 2002, Royal Doulton ceased Royal
Albert production in England and moved manufacture to "their
state-of-the-art factory" in Indonesia. This move has not been well
received by collectors and consumers alike who definitely see Royal Albert as
English and enjoy owning Real English Fine Bone China, consequentially we are
already seeing a preference for "Made in England" items. (NB: All the
items on our site are Made in England.)

Terms As the majority of our items are either vintage or antique porcelain, they have probably been used. Most items collect small scuffs, surface marks and signs of wear during their years of service, it would be impossible to list them all, however, where there is something significant, these will be pointed out. Also, please remember that during the timeperiod when these items were manufactured, there was no such thing as quality control, and the manufacturing process was not as it is today, sothere may bea spot or two from when the set was fired in the kiln, black specks under the glaze, pin pricks where a glaze bubble popped, and support marks on the bottoms of the pieces etc. The above is all part and parcel of the charm of old china, so please don’t offer if you want new and perfect. *Buy multiple items and we will happilycombine postage costs. Please let us know if you wish to offer on another item after the end of the first sale. Whilst we are happy to "hold" items over to the next weekend to save on postage, we still require payment within 3 days for the original purchase. *All items described as accurately as possible, with no intention to deceive, however, we are only human and may unintentionally miss a minor fault. It should be noted that we are not experts, and whilst we research our items, any dates mentioned are to be used as a guide only. *Where we have more than one of the same item, we may use a file photo. *We reserve the right to withdraw an item from sale if no interest is shown. There is nothing nicer, or a bigger compliment, than to have repeat buyers, so if ever there is a problem please let us know via email, prior to leaving response, as you have our commitment that it will be sorted out amicably.
