"Robin and Strawberries" Primitive Punchneedle on Hornbook
This yummy design is from Bonnie Sullivan. Really striking in person. It is a punchneedle that I handcrafted on weaver's cloth using all 3 strand overdyed Valdani and DMC floss in rich primitive colors (please note--reds appear brighter in photos,in reality they're darker). Once completed, it was mounted on to a wood hornbook that was faux painted. It first was painted a dark green, then over painted with a lighter sage green, then "combed". The edges were then distressed. As a final touch, 2 rusty bells and a brown rustic tag reading, "You and Me....Meant to Bee"(also a little bee is pictured on it), were tied to knob. The actual needlework measures approx. 5" wide by 5" tall. Hornbook measures approx.6 1/4" wide by 7 3/4" tall by 3/4" deep. I only accept PayPal and would like payment no later than 3 days past the end of the sale. Please review my other listings. I will combine shipping costs on multiple purchases of mine. Contact me with any questions and thanks for previewing!
