Primitive Napkin/Mail Holder
© 2013, not to be reproduced in whole or in part Listed for your consideration today, is this wood napkin holder which could also be used to hold your mail or letters waiting to be mailed. It is made of pine, had a knot on one side, solid, and I painted over it. This will hold alot of napkins, it's a good size, base measures 10" by 5 5/8" and it's 6 1/2" tall. The opening is 3". It was crackled in my special color over black and I added a prim star to each side. The edges were distressed and I sealed it to protect the paint. Nice rustic piece to add to your prim decor! As always, thank you so much for taking the time to look at my work and good luck if you decide to offer! Questions are always welcomed and I will get back with you promptly.
Please read the "About My Items" section farther down, it has care information regarding my hand painted items.

About My Items
Some of my items are new and some are vintage used items. Vintage items are sanded and refurbished by me and then painted and given a second life. Vintage items may have dings here and there. I wouldn't use a piece where a flaw would take away from it, only those that are in keeping with the primitive nature of the pieces I love to create. I never try to remove these entirely. All crackled finishes that I do are sealed with 2 to 3 coats of an acrylic sealer but should never be scrubbed roughly or have a harsh cleaner put on the surface. I like to recommend using a damp sponge to clean them with. I love to use an old soft-bristled paint brush to dust pieces with and like to recommend this. It is gentle and does a good job. I finish each piece to have an aged over time look. I use a multi-step process to achieve this look. My candles have been coated in a wax and spice mixture and are for decorative purposes only. They are not meant to be burned.
