Primitive Punch Needle ~ "berries & Cream" ~strawberry Make-do On Antique Funnel For Sale
"BERRIES & CREAM"
The pattern for this primitive punch needle embroidery piece is by Country Stitches. This pinkeep was punched by me on weavers cloth usingthree strands of Valdani hand dyed floss in primitve colors.It is hand stitched into the shape of a strawberry andstuffed with was then mounted on an antique granite ware funnel with a green wool "hull" secured around the bottom of the strawberry.Also included in the sale are three antiqueglass head toilet pins, one green, one gold, and one blue. The finished piece measures approximately2 1/2" wideand stands7 1/2"tall including the funnel. The funnel is approximately 5 1/4" wide across the bottom.
