\"Soft Perch\" Primitive Punchneedle
This whimsical Shawn William\'s Design is a Punchneedle that I handcrafted on weaver\'s cloth using all 3 stand overdyed Valdani and DMC Floss in rich primitives colors. Photos don\'t do the colors justice!Once completed I mounted it on to a wood board called a \"hornbook\". The board was first painted black then distressed and antiqued with a warm brown for an aged look. It is signed and dated. For a finishing touch--2 rusty bells are tied with twine to it\'s knob. The actual needlework measures approx. 5 3/4\" wide X 3 3/4\" tall.The hornbook measures approx. 7 1/4\" wide by 8 1/8\" tall by 1/2\" deep.
