Primitive Tiny 18th Century Wrought Iron Trammel For Sale
Excellent tiny wrought iron trammel from the mid to late 18th century. 11"to 14" long (fully extended). Wonderfuldelicate blacksmthed piece.Little trammels such as this primitive example were used for lamps, candleholders and other smaller items. A nearly identical example is pictured in an image at the far left on page 166 in Early AmericanAntique Country Furnishings by George Neumann. Wonderful piece with fantastic old untouched surfaces.
