A great original Prohibition doctor\'s prescription stub for Whiskey ~ Pint! Please see photo! From the days of Al Capone, speakeasies and moonshine this was the only legal way to drink liquor in the US!The whiskey was prescribed for Phil Gordon, of Mineral Point, WI, by Dr. Lawrence J. Unterholzer, of Blanchardville, WI, on September 26, 1932. It was issued by the Treasury Department and when held to the light, PROHIBITION is partially watermarked. Printed in red ink is: \"This stub must be clearly and legibly written, and must not be detached from the book\". The prescription stub measures 4 1/2\" by 3\" and is in excellent condition...a great ditty from the Prohibition! This is a FANTASTIC piece of history and would be great to display in a pharmacy, museum, bar or office! I am happy to answer any questions, please feel free to email and thank you for your interest! Pleased to combine shipping with other Prohibition Prescriptions, Liquor Licenses, Opium Forms & Pharmacy Labels. As always, many thanks to my regular customers for your continued patronage! :)All items ship within 24 hours of payment from the United States and will arrive typically within 3 to 5 days!
