Here, measuring approximately 3 3/8\" in diameter, is an antique German \"ANNO 1750\" sawtooth gravity clock face attached to its weighty base/mechanism. Just as it was found, is how we are listing this piece. We have not attempted to clean it up, or, to tinker with any of its visible parts. Its long \"pendulum\" piece moves some (in response to gravity) when the clock face/base is tilted. Presumably, this is how it should be, as opposed to being tethered or secured in some way. However, we are not clock experts. The dirt you see on the clock face will likely come off--some already has, just by blowing on it. There is, however, an area where the pendulum piece inserts into the base that shows paint loss from scraping? \"chipping\"? (see photo 9). Some dirt is seen in some areas on the side of the \"gold\" colored base. Its bottom is marked \"GERMANY\".
