Quality 21" Long French Graduated Cultured Pearl Necklace, 18ct Gold Clasp For Sale
This elegant and stylish vintage single strung necklace of large graduated cultured saltwater pearls is of the highest quality, with a decorative 18 carat rose gold clasp and safety chain. The clasp bears the French Eagle Head hallmark for 18 carat gold on the loop, in use since 1838. This superb matinee length necklace dates to circa 1950.
The original silk stringing is tightly knotted between each of the 67 large pearls,
holding the whole tightly and securely.
The pearls are of exceptional quality with a beautiful creamy lustre and fine gentle silk luminescence.
