This listing is for a set of six bronze opium weights, dating from the late 19th Century and made in Burma with all original patina. I purchased them there years ago on one of my many trips. They are in the form of Buddhist mythical lions, called Chinthe, symbolic of the Bodhisattvas - beings which have attained the highest level of spiritual enlightenment. The set is graduated in size from 2\" to 1/2\". Some have hexagonal bases some are square.
The condition is very good and still has details of eyes, legs, and tails.All reasonable offers will be accepted. It is hard to put a value on antiquities such as these.

The set will be shipped via USPS Priority for safety\'s sake.
