RARE, SUPERB ANTIQUE, ECLIPSE BRASS BOTTLE / WINE CORKER.
Here is a very interesting piece, an old 19th century brass bottle / wine corker, for the bar. It is made of brass by the Manufacturer 'Eclipse' and it has a serial number, its a great collectors piece.
There are holes on the base which would suggest that it may have been designed for attatching to a bar counter or work surface.
The mechanisms work well, I cannot certify that it is in full working order, simply because I don't have any knowledge of this sort of thing. The only corks that I have are all stuck in bottles.
PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS A HEAVY PIECE, it weighs over 4 KG unpackaged and it will have to be sent by courier, in the UK and overseas.

POSTAGE, MISSING & DAMAGED ITEMS

But, once it is dispatched, it is at the mercy of the Royal Mail or courier. I cannot accept responsibility for damage to a well packaged item, however if an item does arrive damaged please contact me as soon as possible and I will submit a claim to Royal Mail on your behalf. Please retain the damaged packaging as evidence. I will refund the money as soon as I receive the cheque from Royal Mail. Please note, Royal Mail does not refund packing costs and a refund for postage fees is at their discretion.
Items are also sometimes sent by courier, especially items going overseas and weighing more than 2KG. But, please be aware that couriers will not pay out for damage to any breakables, they will only pay out if a package is completely lost. So, if you are agreeing to pay for an item to be sent by courier, you are agreeing for an item to be sent at your risk, please bear this in mind
We make every effort to ensure your purchase reaches you in good condition by using adequate amounts of bubble wrap & packing. Some of these packing items have to be bought (to safeguard the Environment, we like to recycle when possible) and the cost will be reflected in the total postage charge. All items are posted via Royal Mail, unless stated otherwise, we keep all required receipts as proof of postage.
