This is for arare andveryunusual art deco desk clock. The outer casing has its original crocodile skin leather finish and the front showshalf of the clock numbersfinished in blue enamel. The two sides of the outer casing pull apart and this is when it becomes clear that the numbers on the outer casing line up with the clock face inside and match the rest of the numbers. The face is just marked '8 day'. The clock is not working and needssome work to get it fixed. Its just as i got it, i haven't taken it to anyone,or tried, i might have had a look but i can see already that there are a couple of worn screws that would need replacing, there is also a winder broken at the back and the clockface is in upside down. It is definitely worth doing though, its a fabulous looking and rare clock and cosmetically its really verygood, there is hardly any wear to the leather or thechrome, there is no missing enamel on the numbers at all,the clock face inside is nice and cleanandit slides apart easily.So as a project for someone, its very definitely worth a go.Closed it measures 74mm (3") x 60mm (2.3") x 27mm (1") tall.
