This is an Original 18th centuryColonial American"West Side" SURVEY ORDER, from Pennsylvania, dated "1766". Partly-printed/partly-handwritten. Singlesheet, one-sided (back side is blank). Size: approx. 4 1/2" by 8". Partly-printed/partly-handwritten in brown ink on Fine, laid paper. Nice Condition overall, w/some VERY Light "shadow-staining" chiefly around the outer margins + left-hand side of document has a vertical row of VERY Tiny "pinholes" where it was--apparently--once attached to a register or book; otherwise, o.k. ....ThisEarly American documentis dated "this eight Day of December 1766". Itis a completed Application for 50 acres of land for SAMUEL MOORE issued by the Surveyor-General's Office in Philadelphia. Signature at bottom of page.
