This is an Original 18th centuryColonial American"West Side" SURVEY ORDER, from Pennsylvania, dated "1768". Partly-printed/partly-handwritten. Singlesheet, two-sided (back side has some notations). Size: approx. 4 1/4" by 8". Handwritten in brown ink on Fine, laid paper. Good Condition overall, well-worn w/some VERY Light "shadow-staining" along the top margin + edges are "ragged" with several tears; document was also folded sometime in the past, but the old "fold-lines" are now only barely visible; otherwise, o.k. ....ThisEarly American documentis dated "this 15th Day of March 1768". Itis a completed Application for 300 acres of land for RICHARD SMALLMAN issued by the Surveyor-General's Office in Philadelphia. Signature at bottom of page.
