This is an Original 18th century "BILL OF SALE", from Colonial Virginia. Dated "1772".Singlesheet, two-sided (back/reverse side endorsed w/handwritten notations) Size approx. 7" by 7 1/4" . Handwritten in brown ink on fine, laid paper. Nice Condition; neatly folded (now unfolded). Document has some light "foxing"/staining; otherwise,o.k ....Hand-written "bill-of-sale" dated 1772 by which SAMUEL MARTIN JUNIOR of Bedford, County, Virginia sells to JEREMIAH RUST his (Martin's) interest in the proceeds from a court case involving a law suit. (***Please Note: This document is pre-American Revolution, and was written when Virginia was still a Colony, during the reign of King George III) .
