Rare 1830's G.w. Bartholomew Bristol Ct Pillar Clock Acorn Finials ~ Needs Tlc:
Here you are looking at a veryrare estate find. It is an antique pillar clock made by G.W. Bartholomew in Bristol, CT. I know it was from the 1830's because he made these clocks alone until 1840. His cousin, Eli Bartholomew joined him then and they were called E & G.W. Bartholomew after that. This wooden works pillar clock looks great but needs a little work. The finials are acorns. It is 32 inches tall and 16 1/2 inches wide. Included is the pendulom, the key to the cabinet, a winder, and one weight. Condition can be seen in the pictures. There is some veneer loss, but for a 180 year old clock, it is not bad at all.
Please look at the pictures for more details.
