Russian Orthodox icon "St. Alexandra". Russia, 19th century, wood, tempera, painted on the leaf of gold, cypress wood. Size 22,5 x 17,5 cm (8.8" x 7" x 0.8"). Icon depicts standing St. Alexandra. There is an image of Christ at the top left corner of the icon.
Very nice piece of religious art. The certificate is available upon request from Lithuanian Culture Department testifying the authenticity and age of the icon.
