This is a very beautiful, old and very unique EARLY VICTORIAN FAUX TORTOISE PEACOCK FEATHER c. 1840-50 fan. The idyllic hand made fan has a marvelous faux tortoise sticks, adorned with blue silk bow and exquisite genuine peacock feathers. The fan is in fantastic quality. It measures 10 1/4 long open,1 1/4" wide stick and 7" wide. The fan has a very elegant, exquisite and stately feel to it. The fan is in very good condition.
