It is a truly old piece that certainly has artistic and historic value. A 1700 date appears marked on the top right. We do not know the significance of this number, so we will say that the piece is from the early 1800\'s sometime. But perhaps it is earlier. The artwork measures approximately 13 x 16 ¾ inches. It is intact, but there are splits in places where it had been folded. The bacside shows where tape was added to cover the splits. And we can tell you that from the look of the tape, it was added ages ago. In any event, this is a great piece. It deserves to be framed and will make quite a showpiece!
