Beautiful! Antique Belleek Tray
Here is a lovely antique Irish Belleek Grass Tea Ware pettern large serving tray. This rare find features a basket weave bottom, turned up side edges, and hand painted grass and leaves decor in shades of tan, pale pink or lavender and a hint of green. This terrific Grass Tea Ware tray is marked on the back with the 1st Black Mark, which dates it from 1863-1890.
The large tea ware serving tray measures 17"by 13 3/4". It is in good condition with only a very tight hairline that begins with a small uderside chip at the bottom left side. This can be seen greatly magnified in the last photo. The next to the last photo shows a greatly magnified imperfection on the basket bottom from the making of this piece, most likely a drip in the porcelain making process.
A great addition to your collection!
