Rare Antique Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) Hand Carved Netsuke Signed For Sale
This is an old Japanese Hand Carved
Netsuke in the form of a goat head (possible Ojime bead). It is probably carved
from solid ox bone. This piece is a true work of art with
outstanding details and nice stained yellow patina.The netsuke signed by artist on the bottom side with two
characters. It reads from the top to the bottom : 1st mark-“Gyoku”, 2nd mark “?”. The netsuke measures 0.75 inch high, 1 inch long, and
0.69 inch wide.
