Up for sale is my Seth Thomas \"DANA\" Circa 1913, Red Adamantine Mantle Clock.....very hard to find. It is in absolute gorgeous original condition. The clockface is extremely clean and the brass bezel around it has a nice mellow pantine to it. The surface of this clock almost looks like it was made a couple months ago!! There Is only a small nick on the back edge- see picturesAs far as the running of this clock, it never stops and is as dependable as any clock I own. The clock will obviously need adjusting when you receive it, however it is running and striking here at my house as I write this. Here is a very detailed description:
BEAUTIFUL ROSEWOOD ADAMANTINE !! ITS AN 8 DAY KEYWIND SETH THOMAS MANTLE CLOCK FROM 1913 !! THIS IS THE \"RED MAHOGANY \" VERSION IN THIS STYLE AND IS BEAUTIFUL! ...... ADAMANTINE IS A SURFACE LIKE BAKELITE THAT WAS DEVELOPED BY SETH THOMAS IN THE LATE 1800\'s AND WAS ADVERTISED AS EASY TO CLEAN AND SCRATCH-PROOF ETC. THEY MADE MANY COLORS , AND THIS ONE TODAY IS CONSIDERED ROSEWOOD OR MAHOGANY COLOR , THE 1995 COLLECTOR BOOK CALLS IT MAHOGANY ADAMANTINE . IT SHOWS PRETTY WOOD GRAIN AS A WOOD CLOCK WOULD . THEY WERE, AND STILL ARE VERY POPULAR 1920\'s CLOCK MODELS TO HAVE . YOUR FRIENDS WONT BELIEVE YOU THAT ITS FROM 1913 !! ....THESE ARE PRETTY RARE WHEN FOUND IN THIS GOOD CONDITION , ITS 100 YEARS OLD AND ALL ORIGINAL !
