A scarce buy for the Clock Enthusiast or repair man. Up for offer, I have an early (c.1879-1884) Welch, Spring & Co Gerster, V.P Parlor Clock case. In the field of clock collecting, there are a few clocks that define a collection, the Welch Gerster, V.P. is one of these clocks. This is a rare opportunity for you to restore one of these clocks. This Welch V.P. Gerster (V.P. stands for visible pendulum) clock is 18 1/2" tall and retains all fancy woodwork. No finials or rosettes missing!! Only minor veneer work at bottom of base needed and this is all flat veneer. The Original gold leaf design glass is complete & Perfect.The interior black paper is in generally good condition. The back of the clock still has a Good original label, which is nearly mostly intact. This case is 127 years old and in overall very good condition needing a good restorer and would be a stunning addition to anyone’s collection! USPS Shipping, fully insured.
