EARLY Antique 19th C SHAKER Pantry DARK CORN STRAW Sample BROOM Brush 11\"- it is made of Straw (or corn straw) and has a round wooden handle with a wire wrapped broom or brush. It is possibly a Shaker Community made broom as we have had others similarly designed and made which were- but we are not certain. Either way it is a really neat very hard to find form of broom and always at a premium. It is in really good condition and is larger than the ones I have found in this form or design before. Most are slightly smaller- this would look great displayed on a peg rack. It measures 11.5\" long from the top to the end of the bristles and is approx 2.5\" to 2.75\" wide at the bottom of the brush.
