Rare Antique German 10.5" Solid Bisque Dome Head Character Baby Boy Mk 3-2 For Sale
For your consideration, we are offering a RARE Antique German Solid Bisque Dome Head Character Baby Boy. This cute little boy measures about 10.5" in length. The head circumference is a little over 9" around the forehead. He has painted hair on his solid bisque dome head. He has painted features including painted eye brows, eyes lashes, and blue eyes. The doll has an open mouth with red lined lips. His mouth shows a sweet expression. He has very rosy cheeks and the bisque has few rubs and/or scratches. There are no chips, breaks, or cracks on the bisque. His painted features are also very clear and not faded. The top portion of the lined lips do show 2 spots where there is no paint but it appears to us as this is how the doll was originally painted. However, we do not know this for sure. We say this because the spots without paint seem so evenly spaced as if it is lined to be that way. It appears to us that this painting was to indicate teeth for the baby. The baby also has chubby cheeks, dimples in his cheeks, and a sweet double chin. The back of the head is marked 3-2. The body is composition and may or may not be original. The hands and the feet have some chips and wear on the composition but all fingers and toes are present. There is also red accent paint to the fingers and toes. See pics. Please see the pics for more detail and ask any questions that you have for us! Thank you for viewing our listing!
