RARE Antique German Bisque Black Cat Candy Container ---- approximately 4” tall, 3” across the base, painted bisque black cat with red ribbon & green eyes, glazed interior and white of the eyes, interior is in red paint, base impressed “2509” and stamped in black “GERMANY”, circa 1890 – 1920, found in the attic this weekend at a local estate sale, still has the dust!! Some wear to the paint on the lower lip & on the interior, there are some tiny spots of what appears to be wax or candy residue on the body but all we have done is use a damp cloth to wipe of the loose dust, there are no chips or cracks, in overall very good UNTOUCHED ESTATE FRESH CONDITION!! !!
