It measures 6\" high with a convex body glazed in blue.
A gentleman in Colonial dress wearing a bright red great coat is seen proposing a toast.Three hatted men face the speaker.A long banner circles the top and reads:
\"It\'s hard for an empty bag to stand upright\".
(This is a very old and somewhat cryptic saying, and there have been numerous interpretations offered over the years.)The rim and handle are trimmed in gold.Stamped on the bottom as shown:Condition:
There is a little fading to the gold trim on the sides of the handle.
