Rare Antique Vtg Orange Alpha Farnell Bear Late 1920s "annie" For Sale
Annie is a very lovely and very rare orange mohair Alpha Farnell bear made in the late 1920s. Her mohair has mainly faded to more of a more golden colour but you can still see her true colour at her joints and inside her ears (see pic 12). She has a fair covering of mohair with some patchy areas and her bare fabric is marked in places. She has all of her original felt pads. Her paw pads both have a few repairs and she only has the remains of her web claw stitching on her right paw (see pic 11). Her glass eyes are original with only traces of paint remaining on the backs. The material of her muzzle has given a little but it is very secure and she has a small, neat patch repair to the right side of her nose (see pic10). She measures 13 inches long, has a wood wool filled head and a kapok stuffed body. Over all Annie is lovely, she does show her age but she has a real charm about her. She has such a sweet face and the most wonderful long, pointy muzzle! If you have any questions I am always happy to answer them. She will be sent by recorded delivery.
