Up for sale extremely rare silverplate spoon made by Wenzel Bachmann, who began working in 1842 and was soon making silver (always plate) for the Austrian and Hungary courts, allowing him to incorporate the double Hapsburg Eagle in his mark. Bachmann became a part of Krupp Berndorf in 1918. The »BACHMANN WIEN« mark is shown with the eagle mark of being court supplier – that signification is, that it is marked until about 1918. Also marked 100 . No monogram. It's 8 1/4" long . No significant scratches or dents, 2 dark spots on the spoon as it pics , overall condition is very good, cleaning polishing up 2 buyer.
