Rare English Solid Sterling Silver Swastika Fork Antique 1921 For Sale

Rare English Solid Sterling Silver Swastika Fork Antique 1921

A rare sterling silver fork. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1921 with the maker’s marks being W&W for Wakely and Wheeler. It has been unusually designed having a pierced terminal in the form of a swastika - NOTE FOR the swastika is pre the Nazi emblem and at this time represented good luck - it has nothing to do with WWII (1939-1945) see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika for more information. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures 6 inches (15.3cms) long and weighs 28 grams. A very unusual rare example.
