RARE ENGLISH STERLING SILVER MANNERS TWO PRONGED FORK ANTIQUE 1933, 1632 COPY:

A very interesting sterling silver fork. It is hallmarked for London 1933 with the maker’smarks being DGC. It is a copy of a much earlier two-pronged example known as theManners Fork which once belonged to the Earl of Rutland and was the earliestEnglish hallmarked fork - please note you do see later 1970\'s examples but few of this date. It is in superb condition being free from dings splitsand repairs. It measures 6.75 inches (17.2cms)long and weighs a respectable 60 grams. A very interesting early example.
