A gorgeous and heavy original 1950\'s Japanese art glass vase by the father of art glass in Japan - Toshichi Iwata, founder of Iwata Glass.

The vase is very textural, with a mix of very thick, clear, white and turquoise colored glass with white inclusions and scattered bubbles throughout. A very heavy hand blown original piece and wonderful example of mid-century art glass at its finest.

This art piece is in wonderful shape for its age with only a few minor scuff marks on the bottom. It still has its original Iwata Glass Tokyo Japan label.

It measures about 8\"w x 8.5\"h.
