DESCRIPTION----- . Here we have a superb rare German possibly Norwegian Heavy solid 800 silver gold gilt figural lion face and Hairy paw footed figural floral handled box. This has just everything going for it. Nice feet and superb detailed lion face and figural floral flower handle. The interior is gold gilt lined and the piece is fully hallmarked on the bottom with unusual Angel like hallmark and 800. Thick guage sterling silver and weighing 10.1 ounces of solid silver or 283 grams. Measuring 4 3/4" tall x 4 3./4" in diameter. You now can see how heavy this really is and solid.
