28 Inches tall with orange yarn hair, saucer blue painted on eyes - this doll is a darling likeness of the Lucy Ricardo TV character.Today - it is an incredible rare find!In the book \'For the Love of Lucy Collectors\' by Ric Wyman, it is stated that \"The lucky collector who comes upon one should expect to pay $1000 or more to take it home\" - and this book was written in 1995 (20 years ago now!), making this particular doll even more older and therefore more valuable!Originally, back in the 1950s, PHILIP MORRIS was giving away these dolls to LUCKY Winners as a promotion by filling out a coupon inside participating stores.
Although this doll is not in MINT condition, she still remains very lovely and crisp, with her original kerchief on her head and gorgeous apron with bright and vibrantcolours.
