Rare Landers Frary & Clark Tray for 1920\'s Universal Coffee Maker Set
Rectangular tray with handles Here is the difficult to find large trayfor a Landers Frary & Clark Universalcoffee maker set produced in the 1920\'s.The tray itself is 18 inches long by 13 incheswide, plus a 1 1/2" handle on each end.The rim of the tray is decorated with a stylizedleaf design border all around. This designmatches that used on the coffee maker andcream & sugar set for which it was madecirca 1921. The tray handles are decoratedwith the design that was used on the ringhandles of the coffee urn. Although producedfor a singular Universal coffee maker set,it is simple and handsome enough to go withany of the 1920\'s Universal coffee makersets. I do not have any other pieces of the set at this time.
It is marked on the back with the UniversalLanders Frary & Clark information, shownin the last photo. The condition is verygood, consistent with a well cared-for vintageitem. There is minor wear to the surfacefront and back, but no dents or bends orstains or other issues. It\'s a sturdy heavy well made tray, so the package for mailing will weigh over 4 pounds.
