This sale is for a Rare Handpainted Ship Decorated Liverpool Creamware Plate, Staffordshire, England, c. 1780 - 1810.
This is a beautiful and very rare example of a fine and
early creamware plate. The dish is round with a shaped rim with black transfer flowers around the rim. The center design has a black transfer British sailing ship that has been intricately hand-painted. I offer this true rarity with a low reserve.SIZE: 7/8" H. x 10" Dia..CONDITION:
The condition is very good to excellent for the age and rarity, with
some tiny nicks to the edge of the rim. There is also one area on the rim that has some staining to the glaze.SHIPPING: Buyer
