Up for sale with is a Rare Los Castillo Taxco Mexico Silver Plate and Copper, Mixed Metal Mid Century Modernist Cloaked Figure. I have never seen another Statue like this and I believe it to be quite a Rare find indeed. The Figure is Hand Hammered Copper inside and finely burnished (smooth) Silver Plate on the outside. The Statue is completely Hand Wrought, showing great form and a real power to it that was not shown well in my photos, I am sure the new owner will be more than impressed when they see it in real life. The Statue displays very nicely standing approx 10" tall by 4-1/4" wide and is in very fine all original condition with really no faults to point out. The Copper shows a nice darkened patina and we have not attempted to clean it in any way. Be sure to check our other sales for more fine Mexican Silver and save greatly with combined shipping !
