IMPORTANT offerDING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION: IF YOU PLAN TO offer ON THIS ITEM AND ARE THE HIGH buyer I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT YOU DO NOT PAY ME UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE NOT THE INVOICE THAT IS GENERATED IMMEDIATELY AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE SALE BY . now has rules that all sellers MUST ship items for which they have been paid within one business day without exception. Those who follow my sales and have bought from me over the years know that I have always had a policy of shipping within 24 hours of a sale (see my response), however, there are times when I am out of town unexpectedly for a house call, an sale or an estate call and it simply is not possible to get to the post office in time. Also, if you find that there is more than one item you are interested in offerding on over a given time period and would like to take advantage of combined shipping, please again, DO NOT pay me until the last of those items you're watching has finished. I will then send you an invoice with an adjusted shipping fee which saves on postage.. I never charge a "handling fee". I would rather wait a few days on a payment and extend you the advantage of lower shipping fees than to be paid immediately - not ship - and then be scored negatively by for not shipping soon enough.Offered in this sale is a rare Potschappel Dresden porcelain figure of a Bolognese Terrier dog that was made by Carl Thieme c1900. It has an early blue company mark along the edge of the base in the back along with a small painted number 78 (see 2nd image). There is a paper on the underside of the base that indicates this is #78 of a limited edition of 100. It measures 11 3/4" tall x 11 11" wide and weighs just under 6 pounds! I found an example of this model that sold at Sotheby's eight years ago. They mention that it was modeled after an 18th century Meissen dog sculpted by Kaendler. The condition is excellent. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or restoration of any kind. Please feel free to email with any questions. I always guarantee everything to be as described. This piece is being sold WITHOUT A RESERVE as long as there is an opening offer. High buyer to pay $12.00 shipping/ including insurance - inside the United States. The last six images illustrate other items I have listed for sale on including a group of 18th century Derby dishes (9th image), two Royal Copenhagen Flora Danica dishes and a pair of Toikka Nuutajarvi glass birds. You are offerding on only the one piece in this sale.INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: All international packages under four pounds are mailed International First Class mail unless you specifically request Priority Mail which is, of course, more costly. Items over four pounds must be shipped Priority Mail. Items are shipped within 24 hours of receipt of payment. I would like to kindly ask international buyers to understand that I have no control over the delivery schedule. In most cases packages arrive within 7 - 10 days, however, packages sometimes can be delayed by foreign customs. I would appreciate you not scoring me low on for something out of my control..
