Rare Old Vintage Antique Soft Rose Pink Farnell Teddy Bear With Label 1920s-30s For Sale
A super early English 'Farnell' bear with soft 'Rose Pink' plush standing at 19" tall. Circa 1920's - 1930's This chubby and cuddly bear stands at a substantial 19" tall from the tips of his toes to the tips of his large ears and is five ways jointed with all his joints working smoothly and he is stuffed with kapok in his body and head with just a little wood wool in his muzzle. He is in overall excellent and original condition with all his original features and no repairs and even has his original blue and white 'Farnell's Alpha Toys- Made in England' label attached to his left foot pad which dates him from between 1926 into the early 1930's.His plush is either a wool plush or a mixture of wool plush and mohair and he retains a fantastic coverage with just very slight thinning and a couple of teeny weeny bare spots which you would be hard pressed to find. His plush colour is a very soft 'rose Pink' which has faded over the years so it is more of a 'pink blush' but looking in his joints I would say the colour was always a soft pink rather than a vibrant pink. His felt pads are in perfect clean condition with no holes or damage and he has five black claw stitches on each pad. He is a very rare find particularly in this near mint condition with his label and he would make a great addition to any collection. This 'rose pink' Farnell bear is being offered with a very low starting price and to the highest buyer.
