RARE Old Antique German Christmas Ornament, A BUNNY and His LETTUCE HOUSE, circa 1900. This highly detailed, early blown glass ornament is 3" tall and 2" wide. It is in absolutely EXCELLENT CONDITION!!! This is a wonderfully creative, imaginative ornament. The well-molded red bunny stands in front of his house, which has lettuce leaves for the roof (they hang down all around the edge of the roof), and there is a picket fence on the sides and back of the house. This ornament is truly an example of the best of the old German glass-blowing. The Victorian children would have really loved this one! What a fanciful old animal ornament--you don't often see ornaments with rabbits on them. It would look great on a feather tree! Buyer to pay $8.50 postage and insurance for Priority Mail in U. S. A.
