This sale is for an Awesome Set of Vintage Mid Century Modern Space Age Majestic Style Lamps. Not sure of the maker; possibly majestic or sputnik, don’t know for sure. Did find these up in Canada ten years ago. Here are the details.

DESCRIPTIONS:

FLOOR LAMP: The floor lamp is 62” to top of shade, 32.5” to middle of base. The wood base is 7”d X 4” high. Does have a chip in the wood at the seam about ¼”x1”. Not really noticeable when looking at. The 3 tier shade is: top and bottom 18”d, middle is 14”d. no breaks in lacing. Shade is in great shape except does have a metal support break on top.

TABLE LAMP: The table lamp is 32” to top shade. The wood base is 7”d X 4” high. Condition of this is great. No damage. Has had base switch replaced. The 3 tier shade is: top and bottom 18”d, middle is 14”d. No breaks in lacing. Shade is in great shape.

Both lamps have the main light switch at the socket, they have a 3 way. The Sputnik lights are controlled by the switch on the base, 1st is bottom 4, second is top 4, then all on. Most of the Sputnik lights are in good shape, some do have tips broken. One set of these lights have 5 points on top and bottom, other set has the 4 top and bottom. There are 8 arms for the lights. Each lamp has one of the sputnik light sockets loose and light bulb is out. All the brass is in good shape, no bends, little tarnish here and there. The wood basses have little paint loose, but really not that noticeable. Both lamps have new plug in wire. I would give these lamps an 8 out of 10. Won’t be disappointed.
