Rare Set Of 3 Vintage Manchester Sterling Silver 3759 S Mint Julep Cup Tumblers For Sale
Hello buyers. Up for offer today is a fantstic set of three Vintage
Julep cups of sterling silver made by the Manchester Silver Company. These are the model number 3759 S cups that
are quite popular. These are all marked
to the underside with the cross and crown trademark of Manchester. They all measure in at 3
3/4" tall. All three glasses will
need a final polish but will polish up beautifully. These cups are from Kentucky.Onecup is in fine condition, one with very slight bumps with one having a slightly
larger ding near the bottom as shown with a smaller bump. They could be repaired easily by
a competent silversmith or left for character which is what I would do because they are beautiful as is. In total they weigh 12.9 troy ounces or 400.7
grams. Take a look

The Julep cups and the silver platter in another sale, were given to me by my grandparents, Margaret and Ivo Omrcanin. Margaret was originally from Kentucky and used the set for the Kentucky Derby races.Ivo was the Croatian Embassador to the Pope and also the Secretary of State to Croatia. The whole set was kept at the Watergate Hotel where they lived for 25 years until they passed several years ago. It's a very old set.
